How am I charged?

Like the airlines, all monies are due when you make the reservation. You have up to seven days after that to cancel if you need to. If you are sending a check, your reservation will not be confirmed until the check has cleared. All checks will require a damage deposit to be added tot he full amount. The deposit will be refunded after the charter has taken place providing there are no damages.

 

Do I have to pay for the time it takes you to get to my pick up location?

Charges begin when we pick up the first member of your party and end when we drop off the last member of your party. We have a travel surcharge ($50/hr) for distances more than an hour from Spokane.

 

How can I pay?

You can use any major credit/ATM card, check or Money Order. Money Order or check require a deposit of $300 above the price of the charter itself. That amount will be refunded after the charter (providing no damages occurred), or upon meeting the cancellation terms.  Checks must clear before your reservation is considered confirmed.

 

How much is the damage deposit?

A valid credit card is considered in lieu of a damage deposit if the entire charter is booked on that card. For check or money orders,  a damage deposit of $300 is required. The money is returned after the charter is completed and the driver has determined the condition of the vehicle.

 

Are there any other fees?

For airport pick up and drop off, an Early Morning or Late Night fee of $15 will be added when the initial pick-up time is before 6:00 AM or after 11:00 PM.

 

For all charters, we charge a distance fee of $50.00 per hour of transit time if your pick up/drop off location is more than one hour from Spokane.

 

Because limousines are a service, there is no sales tax on limousine charters.

 

How much do I tip the driver? - A typical gratuity is 20%. Like Waiters and Waitresses, most of our Driver compensation comes from gratuities. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

 

Are you certified and insured? Both our Party Bus and Racing Limo are insured to the Department Of Transportation (DOT) requirement of $1.5 million, are inspected regularly by the Washington Utilities and  Transportation Commsion (WUTC) and are cleared to operate in any state and Canada. All DOT, WUTC and insurance documents are carried on board are vehicles and can be inspected by our guests.

 

How do I cancel a reservation?

You can cancel with a full refund any time for seven days after you make your reservation unless that reservartion is within five days of the charter. There are no refunds within five days of the charter. In extreme circumstances we can work with you to reschedule your charter.

 

Why no refund within seven days of a charter?

Since many people book weeks in advance of an event, we turn away others who may be seeking your same date. It is rare that folks reserve within five days of their event, so it would be hard for us to resell your time slot.

 

How do I make a reservation?

You can call us at 509-279-0545, fax your details to 509-279-0557, or simply click here and reserve online. Online reservations do not guarantee a time though. You will be contacted by a Reservation representative to confirm your charter information. Many book online, then call to speed up the reservation process.

 

Can we do anything we want in the vehicle?

The most basic of all rules is please be respectful to Racing Limos property. All passengers must agree to conduct themselves in an orderly and well-behaved manner. Racing Limos reserves the right to expel any person from our vehicles and/or terminate the contract in the event of a violation of any of  any of the following conditions by any passenger.

 

1. Lewd behavior (please save the romantic encounters and exposure of naughty bits for your home or hotel room).

2. Harassment of any type at any given time toward the driver or anyone else.

3. Please don't yell out the windows at passersby. Some people just don't want to be reminded that someone is having a better time than they are, and unfortunately you don’t know if that person is hiding a weapon under their clothes these days.

4. Possession or consumption of alcohol by minors.

5. Fighting

 

In the event of ride termination, the driver will return you to the pickup address immediately if there is a violation of these rules and no refunds will be given! In extreme cases the driver may leave your party at a safe area and you will be required to obtain your own transportation back home. We want you to have fun, but we also must operate our business with high levels of integrity. It is our sincerest hope that none of the above situations  will occur during your ride, but they are mentioned here because they have occurred with others.

 

So a driver can cancel our ride?

Terminating a ride is our last resort. We offer every oppourtunity for guets to correct the offending condition. However, like the pilot of an airplane or the captain of a ship, the driver is the final authority in the limousine. Of course we want you to have fun, but please remember, you are in our limos for a short time, but our name and our sponsor’s names are on there all the time. Racing limos are noticed wherever they go and are far from anonymous.

 

Can we consume adult beverages in the vehicles?

Consumption of alcohol is permitted by persons of legal drinking age. Our company policy is that no alcohol can be brought on board if minors are mixed in with adults. No carry on bags of any sort will be permitted when minors are on board. Carry on bags will be stored in the trunk or a safe area of the vehicle. Passengers are expected to act safe and obey all laws - including no drugs or illegal substances. Alcohol consumption by minors (under 21) is absolutely prohibited by law.

 

Can we smoke?

Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles.

 

How many can go in the vehicles?

For your safety and comfort (not to mention the law), we will not transport more persons than the maximum legal allowance (10 in the Dishman Dodge Charger and 14 in the Party Bus).

 

Can we bring our own music?

While we are happy to let you bring CD's, DVD's, and other personal items along for your ride, we do not take any responsibility for items that are left in the vehicle during or after the completion of your Limousine rental period. We do provide SIRIUS satellite radio and background DVD’s as well as some PS2 games, but please do not take souvenirs from the Limos. You will be charged for missing or damaged items.
